Single leg glute bridges are a simple and effective way to assess your hip stability side to side. They are also an exercise that can be used - with proper progressions - to help fix weaknesses in hip stability. And finally, single leg glute bridges can also be used as a warm-up/activation drill to enhance hip stability prior to other activities. For all these reasons, this is a skill worth mastering.
